Who am I and what I do
I’m Lizzie, a Yorkshire lass who arrives at this point in life with a backpack full of experiences and tales to tell. With a grounding in business excellence (a first-class business degree and a career in commercial leadership for international food businesses), I know my way around a boardroom and a strategy document. However, my passion has always been about people. Therefore, what I aim to do now is bring a blend of knowledge and enthusiasm to evolve and transform teams and organisations.
I champion the human and work with organisations to nurture and develop people, delivering workshops, training and coaching. From high performing teams, management & leadership skills, confidence & resilience, to strategy & culture, I always aim to leave things better than I find them.
How I do it
I love being in the ‘classroom’ and pride myself on bringing creativity and enthusiasm to workshops and learning. I seek to make my delivery impactful and fun! Seeing people overcome obstacles, thrive and develop is something that I am incredibly passionate about.
Beyond the classroom
I devote my spare time to mentoring others and supporting the community as a fundraiser, volunteer board member and in roles of governance.
Having succeeded as an international sportswoman, I know what it takes to create a high performing environment and deliver excellence and results. I absolutely love sport and bring the drive and determination that I employ on the hockey field to my 9-to-5. Along with a European gold medal at hockey, I am never happier than with my trainers on doing something active. I am a qualified yoga instructor, a demon with a frisbee and, as an advocate of wellbeing, I aim to embody what a high performing team player is all about!
